Current condition:
Very Good

Engine:
850 cc

Wheel base:
Three wheeler

Has been restored to a very high standard with a galvanised treated Reliant Rialto chassis, stainless door frames, stainless door hinges, new petrol tank, all new brakes, king pin, windscreen rubbers, full respray, 850 engine, new water pump, all new gaskets etc valves ground, ported head and inlet manifold and the axle has been rebuilt with new bearings + seals. This bug has been re-built as a standard bug (except the 850 cc engine) so it is close to how it left the factory in 1971. Engine was rebuilt in September 2014 by Dinky Cars in Rainham, Essex. A new crank was fitted (balanced), new bearings and new piston rings were fitted to cure a blue smoke and low oil pressure issue. The bores and pistons were in good serviceable condition. A Weber 32ICH carb sorted out some minor starting / running issues. Electronic ignition was fitted and the wiring loom has been replaced along with all hoses for the cooling and fuel systems. New wheels with tyres, roof lining, headrests, mud flaps, Spax rear shocks, new old stock Girling original front shock and a 4-branch cherry bomb exhaust system has been fitted in 2014. The starter motor and dynamo have been replaced with new items. A battery cut-out switch, LED instrument lights, period Kangol seatbelts, alloy rocker cover, 750cc oil breather cap and original air cleaner canister are also fitted.
